How The Feeders Work

Payee Options: off + Corporation Options: on = Corporation Wins

Payee Options: on + Corporation Options: on = Payee Wins

Payee Options: on + Corporation Options: on, with override on = Corporation Wins

These settings allow a corporation to set default feeder options, but still allow individual payees to set their own personal options. The override feature enables corporations to mandate that all payees/users see the same feeder options. The override feature is available for all feeders (found on the corporation settings).

News and Updates (main feeder)

The News and Updates page is one of the first pages you will come to when you log in for the day. This page can now be customized at a corporation or payee level.

Settings:

How to Get to it, Corp: Other (header tab) > Snow Owl Theme Settings > Corp Main Settings (link on right hand side) > Corp Main Feeder Settings (subsection)

How to Get to it, Payee: Other (header tab) > Snow Owl Theme Settings > Payee Main Settings (link on right hand side) > Payee Main Feeder Settings (subsection)

From here you are able to select your filter options. You can select from both categories and tags.

Note that if you want all users to have the same News and Updates, the main feeder override for the corporation allows you to achieve this.

Footer Feeder Options

How to Get to it, Corp: Other (header tab) > Snow Owl Theme Settings > Corp Footer First & Second Column or Corp Footer Third Column  (links on right hand side) > Second Column Feeder Options or Third Column Feeder Options (subsections)

How to Get to it, Payee: Other (header tab) > Snow Owl Theme Settings > Payee Main Settings (links on right hand side) > Second Column Payee Options or Third Column Payee Options (subsections)

There are several footer feeder options available.

Note that the corp third column options are the only options that provide the option of “Picture Links”.  Each feeder has the ability to have a custom name/title, if left blank a default name will be provided.

Each option has its own set of instructions. These instructions can be found on the settings page.

The Adilas Feeder, and the WP (WordPress) Custom Feeder both have category and tag filtering options.

A corporation can mandate that all payees use the same footer feeder options. This can be done by using the override setting for each column in the corporation sections.

Custom WordPress Feeders

The custom WordPress Feeder or WP Custom Feeder is an exciting new addition to the feeder options. It allows you to connect to any secure WordPress site (https). This allows you to connect with your consultant’s WordPress site, a WordPress site for industry standards, or for any other purpose your corporation decides. Just to note, some WordPress sites restrict API access, making it impossible for us to pull the data. The WordPress site will be validated once the URL is entered. If it is a valid secure URL it will report back in the positive, otherwise it will produce an error. You need to click outside of the URL field for it to do the check.

Once the URL has been validated you can select filter options from the categories and tags fields.
