Currently, Adilas has email notifications for this that are driven by Purchase Order activity if you set the threshold engine (see previous post entitled “Improvements to the Threshold Engine and Report “). When you reduce your inventory through a PO, such as with an internal build/recipe or update inventory PO/inventory adjustment, you can receive an email alert.
Once you review how to set up the threshold engine, go back to the setting homepage.

Click on Configure for Inventory Planning Home.

Click on the arrow to the left of Email Alert-Inventory Threshold. Choose yes to activate the alert setting. Enter the relevant email addresses for those who need to receive email alerts. You can add multiple to primary or cc by separating them with a comma. Click Submit.

Now we will set a threshold. In this example we will set a threshold for vegetable oil.

We will run a recipe (internal build PO) that uses vegetable oil. Here is the PO that was created when running the recipe. As you can see, the vegetable oil was part of this recipe.

Now you can see that both of the email addressees received an email alert that the item had dipped below the threshold.

As previously mentioned, this is currently available ONLY for PO activity, which works great for a manufacturing facility. If you are interested in an inventory notification that is triggered by invoice activity, please give us a call or email us to get a quote for this custom feature. Or if there are other email notifications you would like to receive, we are glad to customize something for you.
As always, please feel free to reach out to Technical Support at 720-740-3046 or email support@adilas.biz if you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions.
