Your customers can now save your Adilas e-commerce website as an “app icon” on their phones. Below are the steps to send them an email invite with instructions.
First, search for the customer in your system. You can do this by clicking on the search icon in the upper right corner, selecting Customer, then typing their first or last name.
Select “Log” on the right side of the customer search results.
Under Customer E-Mail Options, select the “Icon APP E-Mail” button.
The default App Icon Email will populate. You may make revisions to this message if you would like, however, it is important to leave the default variable titled {{myAccount}} alone. This is the link that they will click on from the email that will automatically log your customers into their customer portal inside your e-commerce.
We have added some built-in instructions on how to save a website as an app icon for both Android and iOS devices. We recommend leaving this inside the email as well.
You may preview the email before sending it out. When you are ready, select “Send E-Mail”.
On the customer’s end, they will receive this email and be able to click the “account” link.
This will launch your e-commerce website with their Client Portal already logged in. Depending on their device, they will add this website to their device’s home screen. (Click on the instructions link provided in the email)
From there, they will have easy access to your e-commerce website at their finger tips!
